ALMOHANDESAH showed plenty of ability when second on her debut at Redcar earlier this month, going with enthusiasm and running on well to be beaten less than four lengths. That form is the best on offer here and she looks sure to improve with the experience under her belt. This looks an ideal opportunity for her to get off the mark at the second attempt.

QWICKEN had plausible excuses when failing to justify favouritism at Carlisle three weeks ago, possibly finding the race coming too soon after her debut at Thirsk. It’s worth remembering how promising she had looked on her first start, running to a fair level to pass the post less than two lengths behind the winner. A repeat of that form would probably suffice here, so she is well worth another chance with further progress not out of the question.

THE FLYING GINGER got back on track when fourth on her latest outing at York, staying on well to be beaten only three lengths. Her strength at the finish suggests she’ll be suited by the extra emphasis on stamina at this stiff track. Still relatively lightly raced, she can race from the same mark here and should prove well up to winning a race of this nature when everything falls right.

URBAN ARTIST produced a career best when second on her reappearance in a Group 3 at York last month, leading for most of the way before being overhauled entering the final furlong. She was full value for a useful performance and that level of form identifies her as very much the one to beat in this line-up. She can take advantage of the drop in grade to resume winning ways.

CALL MY BLUFF showed a good attitude to get his head back in front at Nottingham last time, digging deep when challenged inside the final two furlongs to land the spoils by a length and a half. He is 6 lb higher in the weights here but looks sure to give another good account if arriving in the same sort of form. He is also proven in these conditions having won easily on his only previous appearance over this course and distance.

CONTACT returned to form and looked unlucky not to finish closer when fourth on his most recent start at Chester. He raced off the pace after a slow start and found himself with plenty of ground to make up, especially in a steadily-run race. He did well under the circumstances to be beaten only four lengths and certainly showed enough to suggest he is still on a good mark. He remains very much one to keep on the right side, with the booking of Hollie Doyle also catching the eye.

YESYES is bred to be useful and duly made the perfect start to her career with a smooth winning debut at Haydock three weeks ago. She was produced to lead over a furlong out and kept going well to beat the talented bumper filly Eileendover by two and a quarter lengths with plenty in hand. Yesyes looks sure to go on improving and is strongly fancied to defy a penalty here on her way to bigger and better things.

MR WAGYU produced a career best when completing his hat-trick at York last week, making all to win by two and a quarter lengths in dominant fashion (eased down close home). Clearly in the form of his life at present, he remains one to be positive about and should mount a bold bid to defy a 7 lb rise and make it four wins in a row.
